Having second thoughts about your parenting methods is a universal worry. No two children are alike and that poses a lot of difficulty in dealing with them. However, knowing your child’s dosha helps guide them better and ensure they’re on the path to healthy development.

The Pitta Brain & Body: Fire – Brilliant & Warm

Your pitta child will be typically dynamic, strong-willed, and inquisitive. So, expect that they’ll ask a lot of questions or go off to explore on their own. They will also stand their ground and be stubborn when they don’t want to do something. Mentally, the Pitta brain is brilliant. It processes information easily and is also detail oriented. On the emotional front, a pitta child is warm and compassionate when the pitta is balanced, but when it is aggravated, your child can become extremely angry and short tempered.

Bedtime Routine For Your Pitta Child

  1. Since pitta kids are more active, they don’t have any difficulty falling asleep. Ensure they get plenty of physical activity during the day.
  2. Pitta kids are also mentally active, which may hamper their sleep. Make sure you stop them from doing any vigorous mental activities, like watching intense TV shows, playing stimulating games, or finishing schoolwork two to three hours before bedtime.
  3. Tell them long and tedious stories with no actual plot before bed. The storytelling will hold their attention but the lack of action in the story will not fuel their imagination, allowing them to sleep better.
